One year ago today I married my best friend and love of my life.. I can't believe it's already been a year sometimes it seems like our wedding was just yesterday! I am so happy that he is my husband and that we're living our lives just the way we want, not driven by anybody else.. He will always be a huge inspiration to me!

We fish until night fall. At night, err let's not go into details here for obvious reasons. ;p Lets just assume that we were just too tired fishing all day, we fell asleep as soon as we fell on the bed. Period. :D
The next morning..
We sleep like a troll! it was the sound of DH's voice saying that he needs to check the fishing rods that woke me up..
We delighted ourselves with super sweet teh tarik and seafood fried kuew teow for breakfast. And we continue fishing after that.

Our "deadliest catch" during the Fishing trip at Marina Island. It was a baby Puffer fish, so cute that I quickly run to chalet room, to get my camera and this poor baby fish gasping for oxygen for few minutes. We then quickly release this buddy back to the sea. DH said, the puffer fish has a strong nerve poison called tetradotoxin. The poison is found in their skin, intestines, and liver and there are no special treatments or antidotes for tetradotoxin poisoning!!
Only then we realized, It was a puffer fish curse when we keep getting "junk fish" later on. haihhh bad luck!

Bear shaped brownies ;))
Bake a batch of brownies as you normally would and using a bear shaped cookie cutter, cut out the brownies. Too cute to eat heehee
This is Mr Brownie, my snuggle partner. I just grab Mr Brownie and I cuddle it and force myself to sleep. I like to smell at the top of the head, the scents just never go away hahahaha so kiddish but it helps me sleep thru those tough night especially the nights when DH away and I miss him so much. It gives the sweet feeling that everything is going to okay the next day when you awake..

Dh coming back tomorrow, and bed room has been thoroughly cleaned and tidied up! Only one problem, really sakit hati sakit mata. The bed sheet wrinkled like crazy and i hateeeeeeeeeeee it!!! What do these bedsheet manufacturers expect us to do? Iron the damn sheet?

Yes! I sleep with my laptop on, Lately I've been falling asleep watching Youtube movie, then waking up and continuing where I left off. Bad habit bad habit u'olss! On top of that, i also turn on my tab, just to play games, read online articles, pdf novels, and update my blog on my bed while talking on the phone with DH until both of us doze off hehehe.
Kalau DH ada dirumah lain cerita lah ye ;D
Oh actually I nak share for couple yang berjarak jauh, dah kahwin atau belum kahwin, Digi ada prepaid package 24 hours free talk, and SMS. Its call Digi Easy Prepaid . Before this, my maxis bill melambung tak terkira, lepas kahwin ni banyak pulak benda nak cerita dgn husband kan, nk keluar ke mana mana haruslah minta izin, cakap apa tujuan nak ke situ bla bla bla though husband tak kisah sgt pun, dia izinkan je, but me trying to be old shcool sikit, walau dia tak kisah, kita bagitau jugaklah, at least dia tau kita hormatkan dia... :D
But i dont terminate my maxis line, this Digi line as backup phone which i put the simcard in my tab (for 3g tab like samsung galaxy tab). DH pun kena beli satu nombor Digi juga, so add number Digi dia kedalam list Digi Buddyz (up to 3 numbers only) and enjoy free calls and sms 24 hours. Thats explain why i bergayut sakan dengan DH sampai tidur. Dia yang nak dengar i berdengkur sangat pastu esok nak buat motif nak gelakkan i cisssss!
Tapi calls to other Digi number (yang bukan dalam Buddyz list) or other network operator adalah agak tinggi iaitu 30 cent per minute! So i just used duit top up tu to buy data plan Digi when ever i need to use internet outside and tak ada wifi spot. Call orang lain pakai je maxis tu, bukannye nak cakap lama, lain la cakap dgn husband hehe ;p. Call dan sms DH dah free, so balance duit top up tu buat beli internet data plan kan muahahaha bijak bijak!
Bagi mak mak yang anak dok jauh jauh pun boleh try Digi Easy prepaid ni, just make sure coverage dia strong lah ye.
Can we live without all these gadgets?
Teringat dulu zaman study DH call awek dia ni pakai telephone telekom rumah tu, bill sampai ribu raban. While me himpun duit syiling, call kat public phone - ha tu baru namanya bergayut!

I think it's really important to spend time together and bond as a couple. It's about compromise really and making an effort.
And DH, talking about spend time together, that includes shopping too :p
Happy Merdeka to all readers. With the extra day off, I decided to visit DH and Mom in law in Perak. And the visiting package must includes photography session with DH hahaha.
On Merdeka Day morning, we woke up early and went to Clear Water Sanctuary Golf Resort which only took us 10 minutes drive from Mom in law's house. We went there for birdwatching and spotted a lot of small colorful birds, and herons. Sprawled in a green sanctuary surrounded by jungles and dotted with pristine lakes, this place is for those seeking relax and a perfect places for birding!
As we reached at the resorts gate, not only the Pak Guard welcoming us with smile on face, but also with birds singing and birds swooping across the road just in front of our car and both of us getting excited!! :D
This place is haven for photographer and bird lovers. As DH is driving along the golf course, I get ready with my DSLR. Birds are everywhere! Blue birds, yellow birds, black, brown and white birds, they are flying from one tree to another tree. Some of them just hopping and playing freely all over the road side. We spotted many Waterhen (Wak Wak) along the road side but they quickly run away to the bush when they see car coming. We spotted some quails crossing the road and it's funny when DH had to do emergency break just because of the quails hahaha. Before we hit and terlenyek the quails, we decided to just park the car and walk :D. And finally managed to spot few birds and of course capture them using my DSLR :D… Waking up early is definitely worth it!!

Managed to get Heron in flight with its catch, not a good shot, but really impressive for me!
As we walk closer to the lake, we can´t help but gasp in excitement at the sight of hundreds of heron on trees.We see lots of herons with different kind of species and colors. White Heron, Purple Heron, Grey Heron perched on trees surrounding the lake area.
I enjoy the birding with DH, especially DH knows mostly all the bird names, while my interest was only to get the best photo of the birds. Hehehe..
If you want to come here, Clearwater Sanctuary Golf Resort is located at Lot 6019, Jalan Changkat Larang, 31000 Batu Gajah, Perak. Take the North-South Expressway and exit at Simpang Pulai. Follow signboards to Clearwater Sanctuary, 15 minutes´ drive from the Simpang Pulai interchange.
I have spent 4 days at my DH kampung. My DH is from Kg Piandang, Siputeh Perak. It has been a truly wonderful experience spending time there at my mother in law house.
Siputeh, the most remote place I have ever been, located in between Bemban and Parit. A very small place nearby Batu Gajah and Sri Iskandar town. However it’s not that too remote lah as Tesco Sri Iskandar is only 25 minutes away from house :-)
I always have this feeling, verangan going back to kampung with big luggage, mandi air sojuk, wake up hearing the birds singing high above in the pokok rambutan, see them flying from tree to tree, not knowing where they're going. Filling my lungs with fresh air and attempting to have the dirtiest feet on the ground…. You know like a true kampung girl.. :D Its really helps me empty out the clutter from my mind.
Being a kampung girl myself, years after I left my kampung and moved my family to City, there is nothing left at my kampung, except our old house. Indeed I miss the feeling of balik kampung.
Lucky DH also is a kampung boy :p so now I can tumpang his kampung, hihihiii
