Assalamualaikum

Currently my DH and I are in two different states and see each other every 3 to 5 weeks. I am trusting God that soon we will be able to be together permanently. When we are apart, we remain in constant communication. There is not a day that goes by that he does not call.....

Rutin pagi ni macam biasa, pagi-pagi seawal 7.00am dah hantar my adik Irfan ke sekolah then balik terus mandi dan bersiap ke office. Sarapan, My adik Najman yang belikan, my mom buatkan milo, dan bersarapan lah kitaorang mengadap TV di ruang tamu sambil menonton movie kat HBO. Pagi ni movie Brad Pitt dan Harisson Ford. Tepat pukul 9.00am, terus keluar ke office, reached office around 9.10am.

Lifestyle macam orang tak kawin lagi je kan. Alhamdulillah syukur walaupun dah kahwin tapi masih ada nikmat bersenang lenang, tak payah masak kat suami, sibuk uruskan hal anak anak.. well tengok lah 2-3 tahun ke hadapan, masa tu tau lah..

PJJ (perkahwinan jarak jauh) ni memang agak mudah bagi setengah orang. Like me. Comfortable, nak buat apa pun senang. Hidup macam orang bujang, tapi still batas-batas perhubungan kena lah jaga, nak ke mana-mana kena lah minta izin dan cakap pada suami, walaupun my DH tu tak kisah isterinya ni ke mana pun, asal jangan balik lambat… tu yang sekarang dah jarang lepak kat mamak sebab DH selalu bising (ke sebab selalu complain kat DH sebab selalu cakap takut nak drive malam.. rasa ada Ju On kat seat belakang, pastu mula la call DH tgh2 malam cakap tak boleh tidur rasa ada benda ikut orang la tadi LOL)

Tapi ada saatnya seorang isteri yang PJJ akan merasai saat keseorangan, terutama bila…. Ada movie terbaru yang kita nak sangat tengok, dan berharap dapat tengok dengan suami, sebabnya bila pergi cinema je, mesti yang pergi berdua-dua (unless kalau movie kartun) dan anda yang datang dengan family your mom and adik2 atau datang sorang, mula la rasa jealous kat pasangan tu sampai order popcorn pun yang large punya dan makan sorang2 sampai habis popcorn tu sambil bertanya kepada diri sendiri, why why ?

Bila di shopping complex, atau tesco store, orang shopping dengan suami, kita shopping dengan mak dan adik2… pastu mula lah tak keruan, shopping barang entah apa apa, tengok resit hurmm!

Dan bila ada masalah di office, boss asyik pass kerja tanpa reti nak tanya kerja yang sebelum tu dah habis ke belum (susah deal dgn boss yang pelupa ni haihh) dan berharap dapat share masalah tu semua dengan suami tapi terpaksa share kat facebook je… hahahah!

Entah bila nak duduk sekali, rezeki Allah yang tentukan, masing-masing ada family yang perlu dijaga. Tanggung jawab kepada keluarga melebihi segalanya.

Tapi apa yang pasti bila dah duduk sekali nanti, I will miss semua diatas.. apa lagi masa tu kau lah supir hantar anak ke sekolah, kau lah tukang masak, laundry and all house chores, baru tau kan!

In that sense, I have to say, it's a blessing in disguise.

Bersyukur dengan apa yang ada…

Assalamualaikum.. I thought I would share food pictures that I drool over! :)

I'm on sick leave today... yesss I'm working on Saturday, my off day is on Friday, and half day every Thursday.... btw since past 5 month I was really busy with my wedding preparation, I stop cooking for a while (alasan). I think, the past 5 month was the busiest months ever, me as a bride to be, a daughter who have to take care of my mom, send her for her medical check up appointment, I am the one who personally fetch my lil bro in school, ... yes after dad passed away, I promised to him that I will take care the rest...

Everyone needs the occasional unscheduled day of leisure, and I need to have my body in good rest... plus I have to do some house chores like redecorate my bedroom, spring cleaning and clear all the wedding stuff yang berlonggok2 tu :p.. hubby will be coming on 19th... waiting for u dear!

Ok back to the drooling issue, so yesterday Friday was my off day and I manage to cook something for my family. After did some groceries shopping in the morning, we had lunch at Tesco je, then balik rumah I cook nasi goreng sotong for my family dinner... hub? oooohh he is in Perak... working as usual. :) Surviving my PJJ marriage, I have to redha je duduk jauh2 dengan hubby as I dont feel alone without him, I have my family here, thanks God...

So this is what I cook, nasi goreng sotong with scramble egg, I bet everyone knows how to cook this...

And today is my mom birthday, so its ok to have some sweet treats... yeaaayyy a cake of course!! I baked this Chocolate Pandan Cake (or maybe we should call Pandan Cake With Chocolate coz it taste pandan more than the chocolate hehehe).. heyyy the recipe I got from HERE, I also add a twist in it by adding chocolate emulco into half of the cake batter... hehehe perderhaka resepi orang...

This cake is less sweet and no butter were used (due to the coconut milk - I used instant coconut milk ;p) and taste soooooooooooooooo goood!!!
